Last year's getaway Was More Amazing

Honestly, comparing my recent/last/current vacation to this one is like apples and oranges. My previous/former/other trip was just incredible/amazing/fantastic. We spent our time/went on a journey/had an absolute blast in a charming/beautiful/exotic place called Italy. The beaches were pristine/stunning/breathtaking, the food was delicious/scrumptious/divine, and we even managed to/found time for/got lucky with a whale watching tour.

This trip, while fine, just doesn't compare to the memories/excitement/pure joy I felt on my last/previous/other vacation. Maybe next year will be better.

Lost I'm Discovering (On Purpose)

There's a certain freedom that comes with knowing you aren't just wandering aimlessly. It's about embracing the unknown, trusting your instincts and letting curiosity be your compass. Sure, there might be moments of uncertainty, but those are just reminders to pivot.

The real joy is in each step, not the destination. It's about uncovering something new about yourself. When you're truly exploring, you realize that sometimes getting off track is exactly how you discover what you're looking for.

Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry Abroad When My Stomach Was Rumbling

Being lost in a new country is always an adventure, but sometimes those adventures can take a turn for the worse when your stomach starts to growl. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement about exploring {astrange land and forget about the most basic needs like food. This often leads to mood swings, which can cause some less than charming behavior.

I've definitely learned this the hard way on a few. One moment I was smiling about trying a local delicacy, here and the next I was arguing with my travel companions because I hadn't eaten in hours. It's not exactly a behavior I'm proud of, but it just goes to show that even the most adventurous traveler can fall prey to a ravenous monster when they're hungry.

So, if you ever find yourself abroad and starting to feel grumpy, my advice is to fuel up. It might be the difference between having a amazing trip and one that ends with some awkward moments.

Travel: Eat. Sleep. Repeat. Nap Time is Essential.

Let's be honest – traveling can be exhausting. You're constantly wandering new places, savoring unfamiliar foods, and soaking up the scenery. It's all incredibly rewarding, but it can also leave you feeling drained. That's where nap time comes in.

Don't underestimate the power of a quick nap while you're on the adventure. It can revitalize your batteries and allow you to fully appreciate all that your destination has to offer.

  • Include a travel pillow and an eye mask in your bag.
  • Seek out quiet spots in gardens.
  • Create boundaries with your friends about nap time.
